Although born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Renee has called Houston home since moving here in 1999. While finishing her degree at Loyola University in New Orleans, She received her Louisiana Real Estate License and became an assistant to her mother, Karen Prieur, who continues to be a very successful real estate agent today.

After graduation, Renee began her career in the audit division at Arthur Andersen LLP. While this job was much different than real estate, it required an attention to detail and numbers. In 1999, Renee and her husband relocated to Houston, and she transitioned into the tax group at Arthur Andersen here. She retired from Arthur Andersen in June 2000 after the birth of their first child.

Renee and her husband, James, currently reside in West University. They raised their four children James Jr, Madeline, Anne Louise and Catherine in Houston and presently have one very spoiled dog named Hank. Renee received a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University New Orleans. In addition to being licensed in Texas, she also holds a real estate license in Louisiana.
